Ibn Kathir (Abridged). Published in 10 volumes. Volumes 1- 9 2nd

group of scholars, under the supervision of Shaykh Safiur-Rahman Al-Mubarakpuri, who were responsible for translating the commentary, but the translation
of the Qur’an is the one from The Noble Qur’an by Dr Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din
Al-Hilali and Dr Muhammad Muhsin Khan published by Darussalam, Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia.

The Noble Qur’an Tafseer-e-Usmani. Published in English in three
volumes. Volumes 1-3 2002. The Urdu translation of The Noble Qur’an which forms
the basis of this English translation and commentary was undertaken by the
Muslim scholar popularly known as Shaikh-ul-Hind, Maulana Mahmood Hassan,
He
completed the translation of the Arabic verses and also wrote a commentary for
the first three parts, Surah Al-Fatihah,
Surah Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran - all in Urdu.
According to Wikipedia, he had just completed the fourth chapter An-Nisa, when he died in 1920. The commentary on the rest of The Noble Qur’an
was written by his student at Darul Uloom Deoband, Allama Shabbir Ahmad Usmani, later Shaikh-ul-Islam of Pakistan, by
whose name this exegesis is known.
Wikipedia noted that it was later translated into Persian by a group of scholars, patronized by Mohammed Zahir Shah, the last king of Afghanistan.
The English translation was undertaken by
Maulana Mohammad Ashfaq Ahmad. It was published by Idara Isha’at-e-Diniyat (P) (Ltd),
New Delhi, India.
